Vectorize your images
Vector Magic is an excellent resource for web designers that would like to convert their raster images to vector images. Having a vector image, allows you to scale it without any bluring. It’s free, it’s online and takes seconds to download your vectorized image on your hard drive (on PNG format). It’s very easy to use and even easier to set your options for getting your desired results. This is one of the smartest applications you will find online.
You can upload a photo, an antialiased logo and a non-antialiased logo. You can choose if your image is degraded or not and if your colour pallete is limited to 12 colours or more. You get the chance to choose one of the colour palletes that are provided automatically from the application (from your image).
Just upload an image (GIF, PNG, or JPG) and set your options. This sophisticated tool gives high quality images that render very close to the original photo.
Do not expect layers on your results. The artwork is pretty caotic, but nevertheless, excellent. Get your vectorized image in seconds. Imagine, how much time this saves you..
Update: As of lately, Vector Magic realized what a great application they developed and have set a pricing for downloading an EPS, AI, SVG image.

Sucks. It used to be fun to screw around with. It really actually works pretty damn well too. They should have just kept it free and made money off of advertising.
Ah well.
